Purchasing Expeditor/Administrator


Looking for maternity cover purchasing expeditor/administrator, whose responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Regular progressing from CSV and screen reports to ensure timely delivery of materials whilst corresponding with vendors.
• Ensuring revised delivery dates are communicated effectively to relevant departments, updating internal systems where necessary.
• Communicating level of overdue orders to the head of procurement and escalating issues where necessary.
• Auditing of purchase orders against supplier order acknowledgements.
• Inputting of supplier promise dates onto our in-house operating system.
• Chasing of undated orders.
• Archiving of purchase orders & supplier quotes.
• Placing purchase orders for non-stock items.

The applicant must be educated to GCSE level, be a confident, effective communicator, assertive, have excellent organisational skills and have a good understanding of Microsoft office (especially excel) and Outlook. Previous purchasing experience is preferred but not essential.
